4 Fitness fuses a gym into your decor

For the fitness freaks who prefer to exercise in the convenience of their personal gym, we have earlier inundated you with some of the finest home gym units, which even merges into your decor to give you the freedom of working out just about anywhere in your home, including the Otto-Bench, Fusion HG6 and Ferrari Unica gym. The latest compact yet fully functional gym is “4 Fitness,” a concept training system designed for the living room. The all-in-one gym unit integrates fitness equipment to train in four areas (endurance, strength, agility and mental fitness). Depending on the specific needs, the devices can be purchased separately and are assembled and used at a later date as the whole system. The unit is designed with inputs from doctors and fitness trainers to make it more effective.

Opale by Sand Birch is a gem of a wine cellar with hi-tech features galore

Sand & Birch’s previous wine cellar design “Wine bag” for Ellemme was distinct in its design, and the latest from this luxury design studio sets a new example in merging technology with great design. The Opale wine cellar looks more like an art piece than a wine cellar with its elliptical shape, flushed with a huge black stone set in a white, smooth base like a jewel. A masterpiece, this wine cellar stands two meters tall and can contain more than 100 hundred bottles of wine. The hi-tech features include its automatic door, which can be activated by a remote control-zapper, or even by touch.

The refrigerated wine cellar is entirely built in metal and hard polyurethane, while the door glass is exclusively made of insulating glass, which guarantees different levels of thermal and light insulation. The insides feature LED lighting and it also has automatic temperature controls to maintain perfect storage conditions to preserve your precious wines. No word on the price is yet available, but it’s going to be as exquisite as this wine cellar is.

Flare - A wind-sensitive electronic dress for a great show on a windy day

For the geeky fashionistas, who love to be on the pulse of fashion, hi-tech clothing is the buzz of the season. We have recently told you about CuteCircuit’s “Galaxy Dress,” and another refreshing design in the hi-tech wardrobe is Flare, a wind-sensitive electronic dress by Dutch designer Stijn Ossevoort. This beautiful dress is embroidered with wind sensitive dandelions, which “blow” when wind caresses the dress or if you “blow” on the dandelions themselves to create a pattern of lights. No other information is yet available on this electronic dress, but it looks good too, just wondering what would happen if it pours?

While the wildly popular Fiat 500 is much awaited in the US, to sell small cars to Americans is a tough prospect. Haven’t we heard this one before? Well yes, however, by the time US market shows interest in the cute and cuddly, smart and retro sporty cars, Fiat has decided to kick off its return to the U.S. by associating Abarth with the famous French watch makers BRM. The BRM V12-T-44-Abarth is an explosive cocktail of sporting philosophy and elegant style. Priced to start from about $7,400, this chronograph is complete with a 44-millimeter diameter black titanium case, black crown engraved with the Abarth Scorpion, black display features with white numbering and start/stop and “back to zero” buttons. To gel with the sporting essence of Abarth, it features the Nomex strap with red stitching like the ones found in Abarth cars. Production is limited to 40 units. The watch comes with a spare strap in black rubber and will be sold exclusively through BRM.

Classic Recreations get license to build official Shelby GT 500CR

Announced on the opening day of the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the G.T.500CR will be offered in three models - The “Intro,” the “Performance” and the “Venom” models. The preliminary technical details and package specifications for the G.T.500CR, a 1967 Shelby continuation vehicle, will feature a hand-built 427 cubic inch (7.0L) engine, model specific bodywork, custom paint, hand-stitched upholstery and every car will have an official Shelby serial number and badges along with the official Shelby Worldwide Registry.
