Since we are lucky enough to have freedom of choice, it is threatening (at times) to see if we are reaching the tipping point of overabundant choices. While this view might be food for thought to some academic underpinning, we are stuck in making a choice of an arcade in this overcrowded arcade landscape. We need something that could define a unique style, is one of a kind, suits your taste and at the same time contributes to satisfaction. For one thing, much of this effort can be seen in the new Surface Tension arcade table. The new table in solid wood frame with full toughened-glass top, anodised and silk-screened aluminium control panel, Happ concave or Sanwa convex buttons and a spinner, as well as the 2.25″ happ trackball, has simply brought choices to a squeeze. There’s just one thing that summarizes the whole: Don’t miss this, it might be your best choice ever.

Humans have always loved the idea of making things simple, and without a doubt, everybody is excited at the very mention of it. However, a somewhat paradoxical gloss is even when the “simple” is just around the corner, we would settle for the “perfect.” Today’s profusion of choice dates back to the Victorian times, when the first simple machines to be called bicycles were made, not to cocoon our dream of luxurious living but to enhance it. The YikeBike invented by Grant Ryan and engineer Peter Higgins is a bicycle but not as we know it. This clever piece of engineering is a portable electric bike that takes off at 10mph and reaches a max of 13mph. While it might take a while to grasp what the seating arrangement and dimensions are like but given the portable part of this 22lb package, it sure won’t help you to take all the problems off your back.

Think of things that cause you to say, “Wow! I’d love to do that.” This is what I thought, when I saw the Ultimate Arcade II Cabinet MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator). However, its not new with me but I would definitely like to have a closer look at this game emulator system that features a slide-out keyboard drawer with a built-in 22-inch Viewsonic CRT Color Monitor, Athlon 64 System, Labtec Speakers, and 24 classic Midway games like Paperboy, Defender, Gauntlet, Rampage and Joust. The MAME is definitely worth it at $1879 for even the casual gamers like me, and probably for the busiest people to take a break and just have a look at this.

Mac lovers would love the latest Mac workstation from SmartDesks, a company known for its varied range of office desks. The MacTable can integrate both the notebook and desktop versions in style. The Mac Table is styled for iMac 20″ and 24″ displays. The table features a steel base, and the low screen position prevents neck and eye strain. The top is roomy enough to accommodate a keyboard and mouse. The WireWonder cable manager lets you place small components, such as power supplies, in its 2.5″ x 3.375″ channel. Excess wire is easily wrapped around WireWonder’s “mushroom tops” for a clean look. Though it’s nothing like the iDesk and MILK desk, the MacTable is a fine home for your Mac minus designer looks. No word on price is yet available on the site, but it should be affordable.

Every dog has his day but what about the nights? Don’t go by the literal meaning and we mean no offense to any Taiwanese when we say it has little relevance to dog eaters. Dogs are very cute and irresistible pets – that’s for sure however, many would think that dogs and man are so different yet alike that a lot of people may think of spending $1700 on a dog bed. So, if you own all the luxuries for yourself but have a dog that fits in the kennel every night, it’s a shame not to have him or her sleep on the high quality Chien Vivant dog bed. The dog beds can also be customized with things like monogramming and Swarovski bed legs for (of course) the extremely pampered pooch. Spread the word. Woof, woof!
