We have earlier told you about many blinged-out iphone versions, but if you are still looking for more options then here’s another one for you from Devere’s, diamond jewelers of London. This stunning Art Deco-inspired Apple iPhone “Angel Tear” has been created by De Vere’s founder Philip De Vere in memory of his mother, who died of ovarian cancer. The unlocked 16GB black-backed 3G iPhones have 400 small brilliant cut diamonds set into the steel bezel surrounding the front screen. The majority of these diamonds are F color, VS clarity whites, apart from one corner, which has pink diamonds to highlight the cause, that gradually fade to whites as they extend along the edges of the iPhone. Though it looks more or less the same as the ones we have told you about earlier, De Vere’s is offering added advantages to its buyer with an option to remove the diamonds from the iPhone and set into a jewelery if the owner wishes so, at a later date.

Is there anything like credit crunch when there are crazy art lovers like George Michael? The famous “Careless Whisper” singer is going to pay a whopping £1 million for a 24-carat gold and diamond replica of his own face. This strange idea struck his mind when he saw sculptures on British TV show “The Dragons’ Stories,” a follow-up program to “Dragons’ Den.” A source revealed that George is very keen on getting a gold- and diamond-encrusted statue of himself. He loves the idea of having something so permanent. For your info, the 44-year-old singer, with his partner Kenny Goss, already owns the £50 million diamond-studded skull created by Damien Hirst. Hmm…I have no idea what the £1 million statue of George’s stupid head will look like, but it really feels good to see people spending like anything in this global financial meltdown situation.

While I was all praise for the innovative Hobart I-Cool seat concept, Herman Miller is the first name that strikes my mind when I think of luxurious office furniture. What’s next? Oki Electric Industry Co Ltd and Okamura Corp have now teamed up for a concept model of an office chair that uses robot technologies employed in Oki’s leg-shaped robot called Robot Leg. The innovative “Leopard” office chair functions very much like the real Robot Leg. When someone sits on this next-gen office chair, the seat moves back to a position where it fits the occupant’s back perfectly and after he/she gets up, the seating surface moves with the movement of the occupant, thereby assisting the occupant to stand up with ease. The seating surface settles down by 25° when someone is sitting on it.

We, over at BornRich, are big fans of luxury turntables. The one we are talking about today is pink, classy, seductive and simply ladylike. The Diamond turntable from the house of German brand Scheu Analog is aimed straight at the ladies. Touting a pure, sleek silhouette, the Diamond turntable integrates state-of-the-art technology and blends it well with sexy make, thereby offering a perfect combination of aesthetics and technology for DJ loving women. We are short on the technical details for the turntable, but the pink-ish looks alone make it a must-have for the lasses. Although it’s meant for the fairer sex, I won’t mind men going for one. The Diamond turntable is real eye candy and will make you poorer by 3,900 euros.

Here is some real on-screen 3D eye candy for all of us. Designer of advanced 3D visualization systems, iZ3D, in collaboration with Smooth Creations, is now offering limited edition custom painted 3D monitors. With 3D graphics and custom paint jobs, these monitors are far better than your run-of-the-mill black boxes. I am not in favor of wearing 3D glasses, but I must appreciate them for bringing six distinct and stunning designs. Anyway, in 3D mode, viewers can enjoy 3D images by wearing a pair of iZ3D passive polarized glasses. The limited edition of custom painted 22-inch widescreen 3D monitors feature 1680 x 1050 resolution, up to 170-degree 3D viewing angle, 5ms response time, 700:1 contrast ratio, and 16.7 million colors. The customized iZ3D 22-inch widescreen 3D monitor will set you back $749, and I must say the price tag looks so skimpy for these stunning designs.
