Remember the grenade-proof Russian-made Dartz Kombat T98 luxury SUV that appeared at the Top Marques Monaco show back in May? This time, Dartz is planning to roll out a €1million special Monaco Red Diamond Edition of the same vehicle. They are claiming it to be the world’s most expensive, luxurious and strongest armored car. The Dartz Kombat/Prombron is the re-embodiment of the armored car that was driven and used by Russian Tzar Nikolai II. The Monaco Red Diamond Edition comes with a matte ruby red paint job, gold-plated bulletproof windows, 22′ Kremlin Red Star bulletproof wheels, tungsten and white gold gauges adorned with diamonds and rubies, an additional outside kevlar coating, custom Vertu mobile phone with an alert button and a whale penis leather interior. To top all these features, the vehicle also comes with three bottles of the world’s most expensive vodka, RussoBaltique. Also called the Prombron, the luxury edition vehicle will make its debut at the 2010 Top Marques show.

Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle, commissioned Kirkham Motorsports to build the amazing aluminum billet roadster. The book shows the secrets of the ultimate car, which took 2 1/2 years to complete. Interestingly, the binding of the book alone is milled out of a 35 pound aluminum billet. The billet bound book is available in a limited run for $4,500 per copy.

We’ve seen the rarest of pimped cars, haven’t we? Defining luxury with those makeovers is a routine, and that’s what Stefan Raab did for “The TV Total Stock Car Crash Challenge 2009.” The ProSieben host pimped his race car’s hood with a “TV total” logo done in several thousand Swarovski stones. Fine tuning his car hood for the new style of the uber-rich, the bling-bling style, Stefan believes the hood will cost 57,000 Euro, about $83,960. You can try your own bling too if you please, or if like the other rich dudes in town you too are equally lazy to do something of the sort, then gather your passports and tickets and get on flight to be part of the spectacular car race that’ll probably feature Stefan Raab in his car with a crystallized hood.

Hornspeakers aren’t always grand, and if you’ve been regular here you’ll abide by the fact. Yet, when the hornspeaker is done like the La Grande Castine, it is grand and sophisticated too. A very high-end 3-way full horn loudspeaker for home use this, delivers in the 108dB range and features a very large sweetspot (because all the horns are time aligned). Measuring 2m x 92cm x 1.20m in size and weighing heavy at 130kg, the La Grande Castine speakers can reach real high acoustic level with only a 3 watt amplifier. To be priced at about $100,000 in the US, we haven’t got much on this speaker system yet, but yes the images are good for now.
