
Get ready for another biggie screen for your mini-theater, but, this times it’s neither a Plasma nor an LCD TV. It’s time to explore yet another options with World’s Largest 110-inch Rear Projection System. The Victor Company of Japan has developed this huge projection system that is a winner in its own league. The screen measures 243.5 x 137 cm and the display device employed in this system is JVC’s proprietary reflective liquid crystal panel “D-ILA” that features the a “full HD” 1920 x 1080 resolution. The behemoth screen consumes 220 W of power. The commercialization of this rear projection system is yet to be determined, but if it went on sale, it won’t be any less than expensive.
