Oceania, designed by Tez Patel is perhaps one of the most good looking eco-friendly kitchen designs you might have ever laid your peers on. Using passive eco cooling and thermoelectric cooling, this eco fridge design does away with the use of CFCs and HFCs which we all know are very, very bad for the Ozone layer. The top three tiers of the fridge use magnetic refrigeration while the bottom section features an innovative passive cooling technology that uses water and ceramic materials and cools fruits and veggies. Separate extension doors reduce the loss of cooling most large single door fridges suffer from while clear front panels let the user browse through a particular section without opening the drawer. The digital interface of the design uses RFID technology to let users know what items a re present in the fridge, the shelf life remaining of the food, and what kinda recipes you can try with what’s in your fridge.

The fridge can also alarm users when hot foods are placed in it and also automatically turns off compartments which aren’t being used. The gorgeous eco fridge rounds off its environment friendliness by using only biodegradable or recyclable materials for its construction. Personally, I would go with the Whirlpool’s futuristic green kitchen.
