Buying a wine, and not sure what it will taste like! Then, instead of resorting to traditional wine tasting, you can now pop a few coins in the “wine jukebox” to taste the samples. The wine gallery in Boston, US, has installed the jukebox, a 2-metre-tall machine that serves up samples of one of 48 fine vintages at the press of a button, for just $10 card. The card comes loaded with 12 credits, each of which can be used to buy a half ounce tot. After serving the sample, the machine fires a squirt of nitrogen into the bottle before resealing it, to preserve the taste of the wine and keep it fresh.
