As a kid, I remember sketching and coloring an image out of a small sign (clue) on the otherwise blank page. Same is the case for founder of First Impressions Theme Theaters and designer Jeff Smith. When a client handed him a sample of animal print carpeting and asked him to put up an exclusively designed theater around it, Jeff got to work. Grabbing that piece of tiger print motif and a chance to prove his skills, Smith began work on what would become an opulent tiger-print-bedecked theater that he credits his client’s sense of style as the driving force behind. Intended to serve as an entertainment center for the grandkids, and a retreat where couples could relax and socialize with family and friends, this contemporary styled theater is cuddled up in a corner of a two-story, 10,000-square-foot estate in a South Florida golf community.

Spreading over 500 square feet, this theater was designed and built at the company’s North Miami facility, then disassembled, delivered and installed in the home. While the tiger print carpet spread over the whole floor adds a bit of wilderness, the theater gets its elegant element from the exceptional woodwork, lighting and other accessories.

The screen wall totals up to 165 inches in width and the main speakers are fitted at an angle flanking the stage, which hides an Ultra 2 THX Center speaker too. The team also conjured up a modified jungle theme with a bit of Moroccan influence.

The trademarked refreshment area, “The CineBar,” creates a sense of drama and procession.

”When a client handed him a sample of animal print carpeting and asked him to put up an exclusively designed theater around it” - Are you serious? The theater was designed in this fashion?? WOW!
Reminds me of this advt where a world renowned architect is told to build a house around a water tap... But I thought such things never happened in real life.
And the theater looks so Luxurious, so Regal, so Elegant.
