The Vestax S-1 Premium utilizes CDs and MP3s instead of vinyl. Integrating a 12- inch platter controller that activates a skip-proof CD/MP3 player, musicians can spin tunes complete with the effects of a traditional turntable. It has a built-in sampler, that seems futile, due to its limited 8 seconds recording.
