Concept gadgets are always great as they don’t need to think of all the mundane stuff. Designed by Seungchan Lee, Turning Lamp is an inimitable thing that also functions as a PC. It’s actually a PC mounted on a lamp base. The nicely designed thing makes use of tactile interfaces people are familiar with when turning lamps on, so a pull of a cord activates one of the four faces. Each face of the Turning Lamp could display something different say weather, news, email, or a music player. Above everything, it works wirelessly and comes with a fold out touchscreen keyboard. Multiple users can work on the four screens simultaneously. I am all praise fot the ingenious concept, but I fear if it would ever meet realism. In case, it gets real, it’s gonna cost a fortune for sure.
