The VEIL is a shimmering creation of the Paul Cocksedge studio and just as I said shimmering, Swarovski might have just flashed across your mind. Yes, the VEIL is one big illusory curtain which is studded with a huge number of Swarovski crystals, 1440 to be precise. All these crystals are combined to create the four metre high curtain which transforms itself when you see it in a mirror. This is exactly where the optical illusion comes into play and when you look at the VEIL through a mirror, you will see an image of an iconic face in it and when you turn around and see it without the mirror, only the shimmering crystal curtain will appear to you. This creation is all set to adorn the Swarovski Crystal Palace as an exhibit and maybe in the future, Swarovski will have some of these for sale. And do we even need to remark about how expensive this piece of illusory crystal art will be?
