Spending $1,500 on a model train set seems weird to me, but then, this one has something unique that makes it worth the hefty price. Designed by Paul Smith, the “Blumenau” model train set is encased in a stylish briefcase. Model train enthusiasts will be able to carry their craze along with them anywhere, secretly and stylishly. The set comes complete with a high-quality ready assembled summer landscape, pictured background, locomotive and two carriages. The briefcase is lockable and it reads “Railbag” on the outside. Hmm…I wouldn’t mind paying $1,500 for the aluminum briefcase.
