Well, I live each day as it comes to the fullest……though the thought of inevitable death does haunt me often. I’m sure most of us, however optimistic, do experience this. Based on this same concept of beautiful life and fearsome death, designer Fabien Baron has crafted a couture piece dubbed as Dead or Alive. Inspired by Swarovski Crystal in its raw form, Baron used the crystals to transform and elevate the skull, a reminder of the certainty of death, to a desirable and coveted object of beauty. He has created this small noble skull for the glitter empire of Swarovski: Vanitas in the living room, optionally bright or dark. When God said, let there be light, he didn’t realize that some one can come up with a lighted skull for your side table.
