Generally SLRs have been known as uber-professional and less user-friendly cameras. Going by the number of complicated features that give a “picture perfect” result, such lenses are mostly found in masculine hands. Not many women will fall for these kinds of cameras unless they have a penchant for photography. But times are changing and manufacturers are coming up with cameras like the Pentax K-m digital SLR that is much simplified and compact version of the range. Pentax has realized this gender drift and commissioned Bling My Thing to give a feminine touch to their latest launch. Excluding the lens, the whole body is covered with thousands of Swarovski crystals. A few patterns in red and white on the otherwise elegantly caked black crystals signifies the made-for-women tag.

Since there is no word on pricing or availability, ladies, as of yet you need to bear with your cybershots or bulky dull black-boxed cameras.
