And that has been made possible by a two-seater spaceship smaller than a private jet that is capable of 25-minute space flight. Created by Xcor Aerospace, the Lynx Mark 1, which is also a green vehicle, is expected to be ready for its maiden test-flight by 2010, and if everything goes according to plan, it should also be capable of taking several flights into space every day. Much like your average thrill ride at the amusement park, only on a much, much bigger scale.
