pantheon loudspeakers

Siltech, the Dutch company which is celebrating its 25th anniversary next year as a cable manufacturer, has surprised the crowd by launching Pantheon Loudspeakers. The design team started off by using a NASA-used software called multi physic Cosmol that helped them simulate mechanical, electrical and acoustic room behavior from every angle before coming up with a prototype. Weighing 310 lbs and standing 63″ tall, the Pantheon loudspeakers coalesces a pair of isobarik-arranged 16″ Audio Technology woofers in a reflex-loaded bass bin with a 7″ AT midrange unit in a separate enclosure, and a curved, 19″ x 5″ electrostatic tweeter. All internal wiring is Siltech G7 silver-gold alloy or mono-crystal flat ribbon wire, with the fourth-order crossover touting 5.5 lb air-core inductors and high-quality capacitors.

The very low-mass, high-sensitivity tweeter has a diaphragm just 0.03mm in thickness and is sourced from Cadence in Pune, India. The looks are great with the lustrous, hand-finished piano-black lacquer that is further complimented by either aluminum or gold-plated metal parts. Hopefully, we will see Siltech’s Pantheon making debut at the January’s Consumer Electronics Show.

Limited to 39 pairs of an exclusive edition, the 75,000 Euros per pair Pantheon 25 will spawn the unlimited Model 20 with down-sized drivers and an ESL panel scaled back in width. The company’s flagship speakers will cost over $100K per pair in the States.
