There are not many across the planet that would put this amount of green to make sure that their shed is as good as any living room in the world. But the few people in the world also spend the amount of time Alan Cook does in the comfort of his shed. Being 58 and married, I think more than comfort, it is tranquility and peace that Alan wishes to have in his shed. His shed is his own private sanctuary away from his wife Jackie and some of her annoying soap operas that are forced on to the TV. Complete with mini gym, games console, fridge, lazy-boy armchair, Sky HD, broadband and telephone, his pimped up 3m by 2m will no doubt be the envy of men nationwide. The shed was recently fitted with Sky HD services so that he did not miss his next football match or that all important fight on ESPN. His little shed is a private heaven away from the house and it has everything that you are looking for in a home. It is almost like a war shelter, but then that is not too surprising as many would vouch that marriage and war are not too different.
Cook said that his wife always joked that he used to spend more time in the shed than he did with her. However, once she realized that he could keep all his boys toys under one roof, whilst she has the run of the house without him getting under her feet, she soon realized what a bonus it was. This means that both of them are happy with what they have. To achieve this ultra modern paradise of Cook, Sky Technicians were called upon and they did all they could to transform it completely. The shed now looks better than my own room and I know that is not saying much, but it still looks too good to be true.
