
CES 2006 wrapped-up with plasma and LCD companies waging war at each other with the announcement of their biggie plasma/LCD panels and CES 2007 seems to conclude this war between the giant TV manufacturers with the debut of Sharp’s 108-inch LCD that outscores the Panasonic’s 103-inch plasma in every aspect! Sharp’s 108-inch Aquos LCD TV boasts of the sharpest TV picture with contrast ratio that Sharp said was equal to plasma displays. Sharp plans to sell the biggie this summer for an unknown price with company’s other models including a 65-inch model along with a slew of other 40+ models. So, get ready to bring down your roof, to make way for world’s largest TV!
