Prince Bandar bin Sultan sold his much hyped 66.6-acre, 14,395 sq. foot home located in Starwood neighborhood, outside of Aspen for $36.5 million to Jeffrey Soffer, a Las Vegas-area real estate developer. The sale is most expensive one in Pitkin country area for the year 2007. Last years most expensive deal was of about $47 Million for Crystal Island Ranch. Even year 2004 saw $46 Million deal for Mandalay Ranch. But these properties were significantly larger than this one. Crystal Island Ranch was 949 acres where as other one was 650 acres. Actually, Sultan’s other property in same area was on sale since 2006. He pulled off his 55,965-square-foot property, known as Hala Ranch from sale last month and decided to sell this one. Soffers is a Florida based family and deals in real estate in Las Vegas and South Florida.
