This time, Japan’s character goods maker Sanrio has fabricated pure gold playing cards with Hello Kitty characters designed over it in order to commemorate 33rd Hello Kitty anniversary. The plastic laminated playing cards, produced by Mitsubishi Material contains 0.73g pure gold per card. There are 54 cards in the set which includes 2 jokers. The gold cards are further laminated in a protective coating and offered for the price of nearly $5000 (567,000 Yen).
