I have always dreamt of taking a luxury train ride but unfortunately couldn’t make it. Anyhow, you can explore the places on wheels with a style on the Golden Eagle, the Russia’s new super-luxury tourist train. The luxury train is an upshot of $25 million mutual Russian-British project. It took its first run on 6th May from Moscow to Vladivostok. The 12 new sleeping cars of the elite train have been estranged into two classes, Gold and Silver. The cabins tout all the luxury amenities, including state of the art DVD/CD player, LCD screens, audio system, air conditioning, heated floors and furniture, and wardrobe space. Other than the shower cabins, hairdressing salon, and the medical room, the Golden Eagle also has a lavishly designed bar car.

The 21-carriage train offers food that includes Russian and Siberian dishes ranging from pelmeni to black caviar and vodka. Gold class has an area of 77 sq ft. while the silver class cabins are somewhat smaller at 60 square feet but boast the same facilities. The 14-day rail trip will set you back $16,000 to $19,000, depending on class of service.
