We have told you about luxurious foosball tables to follow your favorite sports of-the-park in whatever little time you get in the confines of your home. But, if you are fed-up of waiting for your friends to show-up for a game then you need this Robotic foosball table with motion control experts which build a highly competitive automated opponent to tackle human players. The award-winning robotic table is designed by engineering students Tammy Chau, Jason Then, Matthew Turnbull,
Sam Wan and Steven Cheng from the University of Adelaide. The automated foosball table features a 96-pinhole camera and LED sensor grid system to keep track of the ball’s position on the table.

A logic-control and servo-motor actuation system based on the PC-based SoftLogix platform and Kinetix 2000 motion control technology manipulate the game’s controls. You will still wish to have your buddies around but this time to show-off your prized robotic table…right?
