I have been a car lover for quiet a number of years now and thus have loved them in all shapes and sizes. Open-top cars have attracted me the most over all these years of fanaticism, be it the soft top, the hard top or even the removable-top one. By all these years of a fanatic’s experience, I serenely rate the latest entrant into the same zone from Bugatti Veyron as the best ever I have witnessed. Not that Bugatti is the name behind bringing out the masterpiece it calls the Grand Sport which makes me adore it; it even convinces a naked eye on the basis it has been designed. It is one car that you would get into and would never feel like getting out of. Unveiled in a strange yet suitable manner at the Concours d’ Elegance, the Grand Sport brings to the table sheer brilliance that makes the world of automobiles a great place.

Embarking on the 100th year of motoring, the Grand Sport is one creation that complements the mammoth achievement. Make no mistake here, people, that 16.4 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport comes with a removable roof (polycarbonate material), not a retractable one, but it still manages to register itself as the fastest roadster in the world. Talk about stand-out features of this outstanding car, for me the pick of things is the reversing camera, which comes with a 2.7-inch monitor on the rearview mirror.

All the rave reviews aside, the Grand Sport is priced at a whopping 1.4 million euros and would be up for grabs by March next year. Out of the entire 150 models to be produced only 100 are up for the takers and they sure would be rich to afford paying that price. All we can do is to cheer the development and hope that we get to see one of these rubies on the road soon.
