It’s retro, stylish and technologically advanced. The ReBraun MP3 jukebox is based on the Braun “Audio 1 Kompaktanlage” designed by Dieter Rams in 1962, which was a milestone of post-war German design. This retro MP3 jukebox has now been upgraded with wireless capabilities and features digital data and mixed multimedia. The radio scales have been replaced by two TFT displays while the antenna picks up the Wi-Fi signals instead of the FM radio. The vintage case is crafted from aluminum, acrylic, steel and liquid crystal. To give it sporty looks, the case and acrylic hood were lowered by several centimeters. At $15,600, the ReBraun MP3 jukebox is not cheap, but then, we can’t say it’s not worth the price.
