We have seen a range of massage chairs with a range of features, but the Swan Massage Chair looks to be entirely different with its Swan-like make. The Swan is designed and built by David Winglifter, founder of Winglifter Bodywork, whose 20+ years of practical experience in massage therapy has led to his refinement of the design features of this portable massage chair. Each chair is individually made and can be supplied with custom finishes and upholstery. This chair is made primarily of lightweight, high-strength Baltic Birch plywood and other hardwoods. The Swan features adjustable torso tilt and extension, knee to seat distance adjustable, face support tilt and extension, and compact carrying size with 90-second setup. Swan chairs easily fold into a one-hand carry for transport and storage. The torso/face support slips off to use at desks or tabletops for brief workplace sessions. The completed chair weighs about 21 pounds. Previous cost of the standard Swan Chair was $539, but they say the new model will have a low price tag. Anyway, the production is halted for the time being as David is looking for new production facilities.
