Hard to believe that an ugly piece of art made from precious metals like silver, mercury and gold with gem stones decked on its body, is a camera. The skull camera dubbed “Yama” after the Tibetan god of death is made from the skull of a Tibetan monk. The creepiest looking pinhole camera I have ever seen blessed by a Tibetan Lama is designed by Wayne Martin Belger for the study of exodus and for the research of modern incarnations of historical iconic figures. A divider that splits it into the two offers onlookers a chance to get its inner view. The weirdest aspect that makes me drool is the camera made by the self-taught artist and machinist can actually click photographs. Honestly, the artifact that comes with a hefty price tag of $5,000 puts the conventional cameras to shame.
