The upcoming trend in the hearth and home is an environmentally friendly open fireplace which makes for an excellent showpiece to enlighten your decor besides offering its owner the convenience of handling it with no chimney and maintenance required. Though the credit goes to EcoSmart fire for open fire innovation, the best has come from an industrial design student Fredrik Hylten-Cavallius, with this chimney free indoor stove called “Piet” that is as dazzling as the fire. This indoor stove features a brass reflector, and it burns ethanol fuel instead of wood, which means smokeless fire.

The ceramic exteriors come with a layer of rock wool fire insulation between the reflector and the outer shell to keep the outside cool so to avoid any accidents, and also you can freely place it anywhere in your home. This also means no installation required, so enjoy the beauty of open fire.
