However advanced or digitalized we may claim ourselves to be, none of us can renounce the early practice of working on/with paper. Every office environment utilizes employees for various tasks, be they on the computer or done manually. Some may need to type restlessly at the keyboard, while others may need to go through piles of papers. So in order to provide a common platform for every worker to work without much difficulty, designer Thomas Broen has given shape to the OSOM Table. This versatile workstation’s design is inspired by the “Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind” principle, and is intended to help users work more efficiently.

Aptly suited various types of work, the table also combines the Getting Things Done methodology created by author David Allen.

Befitted with various modules like office suppliers, pen holders, trays and insulated food storage. Totally customizable, these modules also feature a power supply that can juice up your gadgets. The highlight of this table is its potential to be flexible according to the needs of the user. If there is a need to carry few papers to meeting or elsewhere, the user just needs to take that module along. With a push on the top, storage compartments reveal themselves from the table surfaces.

Seems to be pretty organized concept! Hope to see such neat, practical workstations in my office too.
