Strolling in to pregnancy and motherhood gives a spanking twist to your shopping list. Suddenly you find yourself steering to baby shops and infant counters. The latest baby product to captivate your motherly senses is the power-folding stroller from 4Moms. As a mother, I am aware of how cumbersome it is to manually unfold a stroller with a baby in arms. However, this automatic alternative seems to be a blessing for all moms who can afford it. Dubbed the Origami, it effortlessly folds up and down with a touch of a button. Intelligently featured, it can detect the presence of a baby to automatically deactivate the folding mechanism. Along with taking care of your little world, it takes care of the whole world too. Boasting of green feather on its hat, Origami is crafted out of 90% recyclable materials.
Also, the small generator that empowers the stroller with the robotic trait recharges on its own as it moves about. For every 300 feet of strolling, it gets its self-charged for more power.
Along with these avant-garde features, it also packs in the usual storage options, cup holders, detachable backpacks, reclining seats and much more.
All the mommies who are itching to grab this ultra-convenient auto-fold stroller will have to wait till 2009. No official word on the price tag.

WOW!!!! This is fantastic! I would say one of the most useful and practical ’invention’ of modern times. Too good.
We used to keep our stroller in car and every evening while taking out kiddo for stroll, my wife would struggle opening and closing it. Holding the handle and pressing and pushing a rod with leg so it opens and closing was even more difficult :(
This is a MUST for every mom.. And its eco-friendly too!! 100/100 from me.
Just hope its reasonably priced.
Yeah it is the most well designed, green stroller that every parent will want to lay their hands on. I’m sure it may not be as reasonable but then it would help to save up for it.
