abruzzo ferrari f430

In an attempt to help rebuild the earthquake-hit Abruzzo region, automakers are auctioning off one-off vehicles. Last month, Fiat donated a special Ducato van to Pope Benedict XVI and now, Ferrari has announced it will roll out a special, one-off F430 for the very noble cause. It’s the last Ferrari F430 that was slated to be rolled out of the factory later this year, but now it will be up for sale at RM Auction’s upcoming Leggenda e Passione event at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, with all the proceeds going to help rebuild the Abruzzo region ravaged by the devastating earthquake. The car will have special two-tone silver and gold paint scheme, which represents the colors of Aquila, the city affected most by the natural calamity. The car will be delivered to the highest bidder along with a certificate signed by Ferrari Chairman, Luca di Montezemolo, with a personalized dedication plate to commemorate the generous donation.
