omas one small step
It’s been 40 years now since American space mission Apollo 11 landed on the moon. To commemorate the occasion, Omas, an Italian manufacturer of writing instruments, has launched a limited edition pen dubbed the “One Small Step.” On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the moon. The writing instrument takes its name from Armstrong’s historic words - That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. The pen is a unique object that aims to celebrate the possibility of finding new prospects for humanity through the ability to think beyond their limits. The body of the pen features 3D drawings of the footsteps of Armstrong and Aldrin with a meticulous texture in white gold. Priced at EUR 35,000 ($49,000), the “One Small Step” is available in a limited edition that includes 21 fountain pens with plunger and 7 roller ball pens.
