The HDTVs are making a splash, but the TV of the Future is right on its way to development. A few days back, we told you about the Grundig Tharus 3D-TV that won’t even need you to wear those 3D glasses to see 3D images. Apparently, Philips, Toshiba and Sharp are all developing new televisions that will display 3D images on screen. Now, NTT DoCoMo Incorporation joins the 3D TV sets row with their announcement of a portable, seven-inch 3D display system. The portable 3D version will enable you to view both still images and video without special glasses. The images will be visible off-center vertically, as well as horizontally using a camera embedded in the display’s LCD screen. The portable TV set will exhibit at the company’s booth at CEATEC JAPAN 2006 from October 3 to 7.
