nomenus quarterly

Last year, Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif was featured on the cover of Damas-designed “Kohl” magazine, which was covered with 91 grams of gold and encrusted with 622 diamonds, and it was valued at more than $10,000. Now, Nomenus Quarterly, a magazine highlighting the rich relationship between fashion and art, is being hailed as the world’s most expensive magazine. A stunning publication by Erik Madigan Heck, Nomenus Quarterly is a limited edition folio of original or previously unpublished images. Each issue differs in terms of production and price, and on average, it comes for around $2,500. But now, amid the global recession, Erik Madigan Heck has taken a bold step by reducing the print run from 50 copies to 10 copies and raising the price to $6,500. The new issue features work by the artists Anselm Kiefer and Lucian Freud, the photographers Adam Fuss and Roger Bollan and a tribute to Ann Demeulemeester men’s wear.
