The touch screen interactive information panels that abound the urban cityscape from railway terminals to multiplexes just got a lot more exciting and cooler, at least visually that is. Enter the Mediamast from ict Kohlberg. This chic looking LCD display, straight out from the design studio, can be mounted on a terminal mast. This mast is height adjustable and like all ICT products looks very cutting edge. Looks apart, the Mediamast has a lot of stuff to make it very user friendly - children and the specially-abled included. Turns out that the fragile looking Mediamast is not so fragile after all, with it coming with a strong steel sheet housing which encloses the precision mechanics that make the Mediamast height adjustable. A 17- or a 19-inch touch screen, LCD screen can be mounted on the mast and this LCD screen can move up or down for a distance of 72 cm making it very easy for even children and wheelchair users to access information.
The good looking Mediamast’s height can also be controlled electronically and also has a facility to let speakers be built in it. This single pillar mast’s inhrent design makes it very accessible, visible and convenient because it can be placed bang in the middle of any indoor space unlike other touch screen, information terminals which usually ocupy corners on walls. All these factors come together to make the ict Mediamast a very intelligent piece of multimedia information kit.
