Coming this September from the house of eFX is an all-new line of limited edition Disney collectibles, which are inspired by some of the Disney’s iconic films and the comic actions of the Muppets. The firm is renowned for creating high-end replicas, and will preview a number of pieces from the new collection at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Later this year, the new Disney collection will be shown at Disney’s first-ever D23 Expo (Sept. 10 to Sept. 13) at the Anaheim Convention Center. Leading the new line is the meticulously crafted “Heart Box” that draws inspiration from the ornamental box given to the Huntsman by the wicked Queen in Disney’s “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” This Heart box in the animated feature was used as a proof of Snow White’s downfall. Crafted from solid hardwood, the Heart box features a 24-karat gold-plated heart that locks with a dagger.

The Heart box is kept on an ornate, museum-quality display base that features a sculpture of the wicked Queen by artist David Kracov. Each Heart box will come with an individually numbered plaque, and no more than 500 pieces will be made available worldwide. Pre-orders for the Heart box will begin shortly. Other highlights from the new collection include full-size “Photo Puppets” of favorite Muppet characters and a four-foot replica of Capt. Nemo’s Nautilus from “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.”
