NASA plans on building an outpost on the moon by 2020. While the astronauts will no doubt be dealing with some serious psychosis when stranded on the orbiting satellite, at least they’ll have a really cool ride to help drive their thoughts away. The Chariot concept lunar truck has a total of six wheels which all turn independently. The perch where the pilot of the vehicle sits can rotate 360 degrees, so there is no concrete front or rear of the truck like a typical car. We can’t find a price for The Chariot, but we expect the cost of such technology would be somewhere in the millions.
