Pop star Kylie Minogue, who has lately taken up the game of golf, has been reported to spend a whopping £40,000 on new golf equipment. The Aussie singer, 40, and new lover Andres Velencoso, 31, flew to the sleepy English town of Gainsborough by helicopter and spent hours buying made-to-measure irons, woods and putters. After being fitted with the golf gear, the pair played a few holes at a nearby club. The singer has become a golf freak in recent months. A source at club manufacturer Ping told The Sun that their top range of clubs works out at about £1,000 per set. Kyle has homes all over the world, so she wanted to have a set for each place.
