Tom Spina Designs fulfilled a client’s Star Wars fantasy by designing this Han Solo in Carbonite desk. Though I’d personally think that the piece truly belongs in outer space only (never to be shown the day of light on earth), it could be pretty useful for a dedicated SW fan to show off in his home theatre or home office studio set up. The main box for the desk is made in custom metal with both computer cut side boxes lighting up with an orange glow and the piece is topped with a ½” thick glass. Since I’m really not that big on having a man covered in Carbonite using my desktop for a powernap, I think I will pass on this one for my home redecoration project.
