It’s been a year now but I still cannot get over my trip to Minus 5 in Sydney. It was freezing yet so inviting! But with the Mammoth Ice Bar, it’s truly a crazy mammoth race over the ice. It is a mobile ice bar set to travel across the country stopping at both capital cities and regional centers, bringing the beauty of snow and ice to Australian’s nation wide. And only Andrew Maynard could make it possible. Cause it’s not joke to design such a thing that would be extremely efficient at retaining sub-zero temperatures even during the hottest of Australia’s summers. The bar is brought to venues in two parts that are then fitted together with hydraulic rams. External decks featuring an outer bar flip down from the sides of the bar and two air locks slide out of the main body. The inside of the bar is then cooled to a frosty minus 7 degrees by the rooftop AC units. Ice furniture, fittings and utensils are all brought into the sub-zero space.

At each location the ice sculptures and ice features will be different, ensuring that no two venues are alike! Now that’s parallel to the other stationary ice bars. Here too you can avail the designer jackets and gloves to keep warm inside. And not to forget a few hard hot drinks server in ice glasses to keep you warm!
