Christie’s, the world renowned auction house, will be auctioning off more than $25 million worth of magnificent jewels including a typical colored stones, diamonds, and masterpieces by celebrated jewelers. The auction starting 16th of October will embrace assets of famed actress Lucille Desiree Ball.

The collection of 10 pieces comprises a number of signed jewelry by Van Cleef & Arpels, including a suite of yellow sapphire and diamond jewelry that includes a pendant necklace, a pair of ear clips and ring en suite (estimated worth is $25,000 to $35,000).

The sale will also feature many steep diamonds such as 38.47 D, VS1 diamond expected to be sold for $2,300,000-$2,500,000. Other diamonds include a 7.88 carats blue-gray, pear-shaped diamond ($700,000 to $1,000,000) and orange-yellow diamond of 12.55 carats ($800,000-$1,200,000).

Up for auction will be two dazzling diamond bracelets, including a pear-shaped diamond cluster band set with nine square-cut diamonds ($800,000-$1,200,000) and one with a rolling line of circular-cut diamonds ($500,000-$700,000). There will also be a unique aquamarine from Tiffany & Co. - a diamond and gold Maltese Cross brooch touting a ’stained glass’ design ($15,000-$25,000).

You will also find a splendid 71.54 carat cushion-cut sapphire ring by Bulgari, which is widely known as ‘Jewel Box of the Indian Ocean’ ($300,000-$500,000). Another impressive gemstone coming to the auction is Alexandrite, which boasts exceptional size of 19.05 carats and color change characteristic ($550,000-$650,000).

Other rare jewels coming to the auction are a moonstone, enamel and gold pendant necklace circa 1910 by Louis Comfort Tiffany ($40,000-$60,000) and an Art Nouveau diamond, sapphire and enamel bumblebee brooch from Boucheron ($60,000-$80,000).
