Want a house completely different from others then, this idea of building a house from Boeing 747 jet just might click with you as well! A California woman is getting her house constructed from a 747 Jumbo jet. BBC reports that, ‘Francie wanted her house to be more feminine, have curves and be eco-friendly.’ The house will be made of elements from a 747 Jumbo jet and the project is handled by an architect, David Hertz. The wing of the Boeing jet will be used for the roof, its nose as a meditation temple while its trademark “bulge” will serve as a loft. The parts of the jet were obtained from an aeroplane scrap yard in California for around $100,000 and the cost of the construction is likely to run into several million dollars. The unique house will be set on a 55-acre piece of land on the remote Malibu hills and will take in mountain, valley and sea-views.
