The world leader in luxury, Louis Vuitton, is synonymous with style and the brand knows it well what it takes to be over-the-top in this highly competitive world-class lifestyle. Louis Vuitton has announced a sponsorship to a new World Series of sailing in association with a professional sailing group called the World Sailing Team Association (WSTA). The event scheduled to kick off in Nice in November is supposed to be second only to the America’s Cup and only professional racing teams will be able to enter the Louis Vuitton World Series. Eight racing teams, including K-Challenge (France), BMW Oracle Racing (USA), Emirates Team (New Zealand), Mascalzone Latino (Italy), Team Artemis (Sweden), Team Synergy (Russia), Joe Fly Italia (Italy) and Team French Spirit (France) will compete for starters, with others expected to sign up shortly. Undoubtedly, the innovation that had long been missing in the sailing camp has finally come to the shores, and we hope to cover a luxurious trophy once the winners are announced.
