If you are blessed with a rich as well as pampering dad or destiny has been kind to you to keep your wallet loaded, then nothing can stop you from owning this Limited Edition Darth Vader Bronze Statue. The only necessary factor is that you need to be an ardent Star Wars fan. Sculpted by Lawrence Noble, the inspiration for this Vader bronze came from a source usually associated with the Star Wars prequels, that is the planet Coruscant. Standing 4 feet tall and weighing 150 lbs., this majestic statue sports a particular attitude as it is frozen with one foot raised on a little precipice. Only 30 such life-like bronze Vaders are available for a colossal amount of $18,000 each.

Wow! If only I had a rich pampering dad.....
Forget the pampering dad Manish, I wish i had the inclination.
For a total non-fan, Star Wars seems highly overrated to me. I can’t comprehend the fuss around the movie or the merchandise that keeps popping up every now and then.
That’s I have precisely mentioned that the only necessary factor is that you need to be an ardent Star War buff :)
@ Radhika, you are talking to a big fan of the movie (Original Star Wars, not the sequels)... I think it was awesome!
The concept was way ahead of its time and the special effects were mind blowing...
Do you realise the effects were done in era of 286 or even 8086!! In fact most of it was done by hand drawings and not sophisticated computer animation s/ws like todays movies. And still it was so damn realistic!
And of course the characters, the robots, the swords used in fight, the space ship, the music... and Harrison Ford :)
I wish my dad was rich and pampering :P
No offense Manish, Its just that I’m not such a big fan of star wars and hv seen even ppl modify their living spaces to the theme, heck one fan even got married in a Star Wars theme.
So i totally respect yours and their devotion to the film...
:)
And yes ofcourse Harrison Ford...
Indiana Jones does the trick for me...Maybe futuristic is not my calling but mystery is!
Wow, here we have a Star War fan! Hey Manish, you just a rich father now :)Putting yourself up for adoption? lolllll
Deepa, I don’t mind putting up myself for adoption, but you know what, I come with a package deal.. adopt me and get my wife and kid along for free :)
That gives me an idea...do you or Radhika or anyone know of any VERY rich and VERY old lady looking for family for last few days ?? ;)
Hey Radhik, of course I know there was no offense meant... just reading this post (thanks Deepa for it) reminded me of this, one of my fav movies.
Btw, Star Wars wedding theme... wow!
Manish just google it or search it on Flickr; its an amazing array of pics that shows the grrom, bride and guests all decked up in SW finery.
There was even a light saber war B/w the grrom and darth vader!!!
Thanks Radhika, will check it... So was brides father Darth Vader? :P
