Luxury cruise provider Cunard Line is launching a ship named Queen Victoria in the month of December. Touting a distinctive black and red livery, the luxury ship has 90 staterooms and 12 guest decks. As you board the ship, you are welcomed by a dramatic three-tier Grand Lobby, whose outstanding staircase and eye-catching artwork offers a lavish taste of on-the-board life. There are chandeliers to festoon the Queens Room double height ceiling. The 90,000-tonne Queen Victoria will carry 1,980 passengers. The uniquely glamorous Royal Court theater occupies three impressive stories with tiered seating and intricately fronted private boxes. The stage is set for 830 guests to applaud the gleaming line-up of star performances and glittering West-End-style productions. There is the casino, Court Lady Luck, where roulette wheels whirl and blackjack tables beckon. Other amenities include Winter garden with decked floors and leafy foliage, Cunardia, health club and spa, and champagne bar.
Moreover, the company has also announced a new Queen Elizabeth ship, which will cost $700 million to build and will carry 2,092 passengers. On 10th of December 2007, Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall, will perform the naming of Queen Victoria in a prestigious ceremony with over 2,000 VIP guests from around the globe.
