Want to own the very last Sky Commuter Prototype test craft that remains in existence today? A seller, hopefullyone of the engineers of the craft, is offering a Sky Commuter prototype on eBay that took $6 million in startup capital. Design and engineering was created by Boeing engineer’s in Arlington Washington. There were three concept test ships made and this is the only one in existence today. This is the only registered aircraft with the FAA as a VTOL class and carries the correct tail number of N2001C.

The craft is 14 feet long and 8 foot wide at the front Canard winglets and the rear outer fan rims. The ship is made of the same advanced composite materials as The Gossamer Cotidor and The Vovager. Weighing in around 400 pounds, the Sky Commuter prototype has a operational electric gas assisted lexan bubble canopy. It comes with electric controled directional driving, landing lights, electric Joystick and two foot pedals on both side, and an advanced front dash shell made of Carbonfiber and Kevlar. This is a very rare chance to acquire such an exotic thing. The current bidding sits at US $55,600.
