A small stainless steel plate, with two buttons, is mounted near the sink, providing the user with two options – a quick rinse down the drain, or a wash-like flow of water that also activates the garbage disposal to remove food waste properly. Hence rendering a hands-free operation of the disposal. It also includes a Kohler silicon baffle, which is designed to significantly improve the amount of waste sent down the drain without assistance from the user.

Watch out for a constant blue glow that indicates the rinse cycle while the synchronized garbage disposal cycle is indicated by a flashing blue glow. It uses a unique technique to develop a safe interface which can be activated by human touch, thus eliminating any chance of activation by accident by a pot or a pan.
