We just saw the world’s smallest and lightest IMAGE earphones from Klipsch. The company has also rolled out a new pair of flagship speakers for the uber-rich audiophiles. The brand new Palladium Floorstander makes use of 3.5-way Tapered Array design that employs new horn-loaded tweeter assembly made from acoustically-dampening materials.
The P-39F floorstanding speaker uses a 4.5-inch inverted aluminum diaphragm driver driven by three high-temperature neodymium magnets. A copper-capped pole piece minimizes inductance modulation thereby offering a low-distortion, high-quality sound. Mind that P-39F comes as a matching left and right speaker pair while the speaker cases have been matched for grain and color.
Coming this fall, the Palladium Floorstander speakers are priced at $15,000 a pair.
