Hope, you all had nice ThanksGiving and just when you got back to work, we are ready with our final sequel to Juergen Horn’s Interview. So, Enjoy!!

1. Rex: Tell us who’s Juergen Horn? Are you as much frivolous in real life as your blog conveys?
Juergen: Who am I? - if I could just answer that question that easily I would think I just lived my life and it’s time to die. But I can tell you that I was born in Germany, worked for an insurance company with 16, decided I would be never happy working in an office job. At 21 I went to Boston to be an au pair for a year. Out of that one planned year in the US it turns out a 3 1/2 year stay. In that time I also went to a photography school and got a degree.
And yes you could say I have a frivolous, strange and twisted site in real life and I don’t mind to show it.
2. Kelly: Your photographs reveal your blending penchant towards nature, city life and humanity. What exactly you want to reflect through your photographs?
Juergen: I like to keep my photos honest and simple most of the time. When people look at my photograph I want them to get a sense of that person, that landscape or situation but at the same time I hope they feel some kind of strangeness as well.
3. Vikas: From where did you learn photography, and why? Did you have any mentor to guide you through or was it natural?
4. What inspires you to keep you going on with your blogging and photography? Any dreams or plans for the coming future?
Juergen: I went to a 2 year photography program in Boston and why...? Hmm let’s just say I got an awesome Au Pair family and after my first year as an au pair was almost over I got asked to stay longer with them and we were thinking of ways to extend my staying permission and we came down to a deal and I could choose a school to go to .
5. Ben: How would you define ‘Random Good Stuff‘?
Juergen: Random Good Stuff is the place in the internet where you go to when you have nothing else to do and just don’t know what you can expect on the front page.
6. Nandini: Juergen, am I interviewing a blogger or a photographer? What kicks you more?
Juergen: I just love it both - but I guess when I get great assignment with a lot of traveling that’s when I am happy. But blogging comes right after it.
7. Ammy: Juergen, tell us something about the Random Good Stuff Shop.
Juergen: On RGS I am featuring tons of strange and cool products and I thought it would fun to display just those on the RGS Shop. I always wanted a site you can go to when you are looking for a present - there is nothing worse when a Birthday is coming up and you spend hours surfing the internet to find the right present. The coolest thing about the shop though is that I am not selling anything.
8. Bose: Juergen, exactly, how you perceive the unification between your existence and your work; do you see any separation between the two? If yes, how much? Do you make any efforts to make them one?
Juergen: I try to keep them separated - my photography clients will not know about Random Good Stuff but on the other hand I am sending RGS readers to my photography work. You never know who is reading RGS.
9. Naveen: Hi Horn, let me know that how you find all the cool stuff that you cover and which is the coolest gizmo you have ever written about?
Juergen: Well, I spend a huge amount of time on the internet to surf other sites and blogs for content - I also screen magazine and newspaper. And as for the coolest gizmo I can not honestly just pick one ... but I do really like those Missile Balloons. Thinking about the reactions you would get - Awesome.
10. Anna: How did you come up with the idea of starting a fun blog, covering just fun gadgets, why not gadgets as a whole?
Juergen: When I started RGS I really didn’t know what to blog - I just knew it has to be Random & Good. And I mean “Good” in my terms ;) I am not smart enough just to run a serious tech gadget blog and besides there are already tons of them out there.
11. Nick: What would comprise your Christmas Gadget List?
Juergen: PS3 ! I want it!
12. Jenna: Knowing your penchant for photography, what would you choose among the two - a 10mp camera phone or a camera?
Juergen: I only use digital cameras for private use right now but I would love the EOS 1Ds Mark II but I am really happy with the Casio Exilim Z700 - Awesome Camera.
13. Nandini: Your thoughts on BornRich and Instablogs Community?
Juergen: BornRich is one of the blogs I visit almost every day for inspiration and content for RGS - even though I am not Born Rich I wish I could buy half of that stuff myself some day. Instablogs Community...I think it’s very impressive and has a chance to make it big - can’t wait to play around with it more.
We thank Juergen for taking out time to do this interview with us and we wish him All the very Best for his future!
