
Japanese have invented another new household robot to be at your service! And, this doesn’t even looks like a robotic figure. This cute teddybear-shaped robot called ‘The Chapit‘ is invented by a Japanese company, Osaka. Don’t mistake its toy-like looks for it is actually smarter than it looks. This teddybear robot has great voice-recognition capabilities and it can understand up to 10,000 different commands. All you need to do is to hook it to your home automation system and it’s ready to take your instructions! Chapit also features a built-in camera which allows you do video conference with your friends on webcam. There is also a built-in infrared ray sensor to detect nearby persons. Chapit converses, while luster LED of the eye, to do the SI grass which shakes the neck and the body and both feet. The company plans to launch this cutie robot in 2008 for an affordable price of around $1,700.
