The Spanish product designer Jaime Hayon is renowned for his flamboyant creations, including the Bisazza Jet Set that made its debut at Salone International Fair 2008. The designer goes flashy this time with his champagne bar unit with lamp for Piper-Heidsieck that is inspired by the brand’s iconic red color. The unit is crafted from Suryln, a material commonly used in molded luxury goods. Its glossy red color and the champagne bucket remind me of the luxurious red diamond bathtub that featured a champagne bucket with glossy red finish and pimped with precious metal details, which invoked few negative opinions for its looks.
